28 Days Connection First Journey
Day 15, Tending your Sit Spot
Greetings from a wonderful spring day in Switzerland,
Today I talked with my father about tending the land. One of his jobs is to revitalize natural areas, today he told me his procedures are like this: if he is to design or redesign an area, he first goes to this place, at different times of the day and seasons, at different weather conditions and sinks in with the place. There he picks up inspiration, takes notes and makes small sketches.
Only then does he sit down in the office and consider how he can implement what he has collected.
Have you ever been enchanted by a place?
Todays exercise:
Go to the sit spot.
Drop into senses, especially the sense of touch. (Where does the Sit Spot live within me?)
Ask into the silence of your mind: How would you, Sit Spot, like to be more alive, diverse, energized?
Listen to what comes to you, in that moment or within the next few days.
Journal about that and exchange with your partners.
Additional challenge:
Can you find your way to the Sit Spot blindfolded and get to your anchor point?
Make it a fun exercise ;-)
Journal questions:
What was going on at your Sit Spot?
Who or what lived in this place a thousand years ago?
How does the landscape feel in me?
How does the landscape show itself through me?
Let us know how things are going in the forum:

Have fun getting to know your surroundings.
May your day be blessed with gentleness.

Hi, thanks so much for this exercise and for all the rest of it- it teaches me incredibly much and brings new aspects to my inner journey. I had a good experience today, although I felt that my thoughts were dominated by my mind, rather than coming from the place, speaking to me. I thought about the sun and shade, that dominates this place, what kind of flowers would like it here and would they want more insects for the seeds to be spread? There is one flower growing in my place, which seeds are being spread by ants. So I thought, maybe the place would like more ants. How could I bring more ants here? What would the water, the little stream nearby want? I walked down to the stream and found a beautiful little ant-bridge across the stream, that I have never seen before! A little branch, that connects one side with the other side of the stream and ants were using this as a bridge. So cool! So I ended up building more bridges across the stream so that maybe more ants can pass the stream. It was just beautiful, thank you so much for all of this.
Hello, I find this one great! It will be tomorrow for my family and friends who are doing this, I can't wait to read what people will tell. Thanks again for all of this. Beautiful.
